PHOTONA: UNDER THE BIG TOP

As seniors at UNCSA, we produced a show centered around lighting and projection, completely driven by the students in the lighting department. We chose a circus theme and from there designed scenery, reached out to industry professionals and alumni to acquire gear, and scheduled training for everyone in the department on industry standard software. The project culminated in an evening where each of the five designers presented their pieces followed by Q&As from the audience, after which the audience voted on their favorite piece, which I’m proud to say that my team won.
